E:How do you describe your role in your family?
A: I am not a typical “housewife”; my role is more like a “blue-collar worker” who is in charge of the tired and dirty work in the family because both my wife and I have outside jobs.
E:Do you enjoy being a housewife?Do you feel any particular way about this?
A: I enjoy doing the chores for the family. In my opinion, it is a family responsibility to take and share more pressure from the family’s life if I have more time and energy.
E:Do any people comment on your role within your family/house?
A：I received more positive comments, like “careful, patient, and role model for the family.
E:Are there any expectations/norms in your culture that may impact your role in your family/household?
A：There is a question about family values, but also a choice of the distribution of individual energy. Masculinity should not be necessarily related to housework. So it would not be the factor that impacted me.
E:What does being a “housewife” mean to you?
A: For me, who’d love to deal with most of the housework indicates this person at least has a strong sense of family responsibility and a hard working spirit. Housewife is also a real job in society as the effort it pays for.
E:What do you always wear when you are at home/ doing the chores? Which aspects of the garments are you looking for?
A: When I do housework, I like to wear loose and breathable clothes, and the sleeves can be flexible to be folded.
E:What are the differences between your home wearing and outgoing wearing?
A: Family is the most relaxed and the most secure place, naturally at home like to wear soft and loose; Outside naturally to wear a variety of occasions for the needs of the style, but at least with spirit and in line with the current normal aesthetic dress.
E:Do you have a favorite piece of clothing that you like to wear at home?
A:As I mentioned, my favorite clothes to wear at home are loose and soft like pajamas.
E:Do you have a favorite piece of clothing that you like to wear at work/while working?
A: For work time, I prefer to wear jackets with pants and jeans for Spring and Fall, and wear T-shirts for Summer.
